Description Project: Darkest Night Hero Resurrection

Because one can not convey to another person information without know how to make a good description one of the projects for English 202 C, technical writing, was to create a description paper. The goal of this document was to take a topic that was unknown to our audience and describe it so by the end of it they would know what it was. With the choice to describe either a process or a product, I chose to describe the hero resurrection and power reordering process of the DC universe to a friend.

During this project I became very proficient in using graphics and organization of text to help describe a concept. When describing a process, especially one contained in a comic book, it becomes difficult to prevent what is being described from becoming a summary of a story. This project successfully avoids this problem, showing that a effective description can be applied to anything.
