CAD Projects/Library
Welcome to my 3D model library. This section is dedicated to showing off as well as help keep organized all of the 3D models that I have produced using Blender, Freecad, and any other modeling program that I might use in the future. Most of these models will be done and for my personal use in things such as mods for PC based video games and as such are design to not have as much detail in certain sections of the model.

As a mechanical engineer a significant proportion of my college education was spent on learning drafting and 3D modeling in various programs, see my resume for complete list. Since graduation I have been using a new program called Freecad which is the free version of Autocad. Most of the documents will be from this program with many in various stages of completion. As the model becomes more and more complete I will update this library.
Due to the fact that one can alter a model if it is accessible and does not have a license I have only included the object file on some models to a google doc folder. If an individual wishes to purchase and or use a specific model shown here please contact me and the required licenses and can be worked out.
My Personal Projects 3D Models
These models come from my personal projects which deal mostly with making models for mods of games. Each model has included explanation of what it is and some of the interesting features and problems that came from modeling it. Currently the only games that is being modeled for is Ark Survival evolved and a game that is in development and therefore has no name.

The model below is the front wheel and axle of a dinosaur poop collection wagon. The idea is taken from the wagon from James Gurney's Dinotopia and was created for the Dinotopia Map Project mod for Ark Survival evolved.
You will notice that the model tree is rather large this is due to the fact that FreeCAD unfortunately has no datum planes that can be used to revolve off axis sketches an a inability to rotate around sketched lines not from the same sketch that is being revolved.

This model was create for and to honor the youtuber Meatylock. It is meant to be a skin to be used in the game Ark Survival Evolved. The first image below shows the scepter in one of the ways that it could be assembled while the rest are the individual parts that make up the entire object.

While not seemingly complicated on the outside is actually actually not due to the off-center and unsymmetrical features. It not only required internal geometries in order make the sketches for features, but also many fillets and champers in order to make the gems. The hardest part was the mesh which I finally discovered needed to be merged for each "part" of the object since FreeCAD, unlike some programs, can not mesh fused parts.
